Bio

Brittney Thompson was born and raised in Ferris, Texas. She lived in the same small town from her birth until she graduated from high school. Brittney then moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and has lived there ever since. Brittney began her career in the legal field in 2002 as a paralegal. After ten years of being a paralegal, Brittney started her journey to becoming a lawyer. She attended the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating with a degree in Sociology and Psychology. Brittney then attended the UNT Dallas College of Law, where she attended the part-time program while continuing to work full-time as a paralegal. Brittney graduated from law school in January 2020.

Brittney has extensive experience in employment law. Brittney was an employment law paralegal for several years, which gave the opportunity to handle employment cases from the initiation of the case all the way through trial. Brittney was actively involved in numerous employment discrimination trials in both state and federal court. During law school, Brittney interned in the litigation section of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, where she got an inside look at the operations and processes at the EEOC. Brittney’s exposure to employment law in both of these settings led to her decision to focus her practice on employment law.

Brittney also has experience in securities law, commercial law, medical malpractice, and personal injury.
